We perform a background check on every employee. Our employees are trustworthy, professionally trained and reliable.
How many people will clean my home?
We operate in teams of 2 or 3 people. One of the members is the team leader. She will double check your home before we leave.
Are the cleaning products used in my home safe?
Yes, the products we use are perfectly safe for you, your children and pets.
How should I let your team in?
Any method is fine: garage door code, someone home to let us in, front door unlocked. You can give us a key to your home. Remember, we are bonded and insured. Your keys are kept secure in our office and signed out and in by our team leader on cleaning day. It will not have your name or address, only a code. We handle all key with extremely care!
Do you prefer to use your equipment and supplies or mine?
Our staff is most efficient and effective using the standard, authorized Maids equipment and supplies. Our staff has been trained to use these daily. If you have some product or piece of equipment you prefer we use, we will do this only if you accept any risks involved with training our staff in their use.
Do you do “windows
The routine we offer is inside and out of the front storm door, the back patio door and inside of the window over the kitchen sink, all weather permitting. Beyond that, there is an extra fee for other windows.
If there is a problem with my cleaning what should I do?
Please do not re-clean the area yourself. Call us immediately and we will go back to correct the problem without any additional cost to you. You can also make a note and we can take care of it the very next cleaning. We love your feedback!!!
What if I forget you’re coming and lock you out?
]We depend on our customers to understand how important their patronage is to us. We save your appointment space specifically for you and therefore turn business away. Our employees count on the scheduled cleanings for their income. We will charge the full rate for lock outs or cancellations.
What will Extra Maid do in my home?
]Our free home estimate allows us to better understand your cleaning needs and expectations. Our service includes baseboards, pictures, windowsills, furniture, basic light fixtures and vacuuming throughout. Cupboard fronts and spot-cleaned floors are washed and the kitchen and bathrooms are cleaned. We will try our best to accommodate all your cleaning needs.
At what time will Extra Maid team be at my home?
Our normal workdays are Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm. While in most cases it is not possible for us to give a specific time we will be at your home, we will make every effort to meet your needs.
Do I have to do anything before the cleaning?
we ask that you pick up toys, clothes and other house hold items prior to Extra Maid arriving to clean your home or office.
How long does it take to clean a home?
It depends on the size of the home and what needs to be done in the home.
Do I have to be home when the team comes?
Most of our customers are not. For security you can provide a lock box with the key inside.
What if I need to change the scheduled cleaning date?
